Lanes reopen after two-vehicle crash on I-95 SB in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. – Traffic is back to normal after a massive delay on Interstate 95 at mile marker 72.5 in South Richmond due to two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening.

Police said there were injuries involved in the crash, but has not specified how many or the severity at this time.

Troopers are still investigating the crash that occured around 7:30 p.m.

State Police said charges in the crash are pending.

All southbound lanes were closed and traffic backups reached approximately 1.5 miles.
