RICHMOND, Va. — President Barack Obama is expected in Central Virginia Wednesday afternoon.
The president is scheduled to take part in a CNN town hall conversation with military members at Fort Lee.
President Obama is scheduled to land at Richmond International Airport at about 1:30 p.m.
From there it appears he will take Marine One for the 22-mile trip to Fort Lee, outside of Petersburg.
If the president makes the trip in a motorcade, the most direct route from the airport to the military post is along Interstate 295.
The CNN-hosted Fort Lee town hall is closed to the public.
The president is expected to fly out of Richmond at about 5 p.m.
