RICHMOND, Va. – ‘Active Aging Week’ is a national initiative that encourages individuals over the age of 50 to actively age in their communities. George Lancaster along with Sara Morris of the Greater Richmond Age Wave Readiness Coalition joined us in the studio to share the details on the week-long celebration that features activities focused on health, aging, arts and more. “Active Aging Week” kicks off Monday, September 26th from 10 am to 2:30 pm at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens and runs until Saturday, October 1st.
