UPDATE: The man arrested for leading Virginia State Police on a 90-mile pursuit that reached speeds of 100 mph was identified as 32-year-old Sky R. Almodovar, of North Chesterfield County, Virginia.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- The Chesterfield driver involved in a Wednesday night high-speed chase throughout Central Virginia is on FBI Terror Watch List, sources told CBS 6 reporter Jon Burkett.

No information has been released as to why the man is on the list , nor what agents found at his Chesterfield home.

Undercover agents searched the home along the 8000 block of Fallbrooke Drive, near Walmsley Boulevard, Wednesday night.

Neighbors said FBI agents were at the home for several hours.

“They were just parked like they were looking for something to happen… kind of circling around block, then coming back,” one neighbor said. “It was kind of unusual. This is a very quiet neighborhood to have that type of activity.”

CBS 6 confirmed the name of the suspect, but will not release it until Virginia State Police releases it to the public.

The man, who is now in police custody, led State Police on a multi-jurisdictional high speed chase for over 90 miles.

The chase started on Interstate 64 in Albemarle County and ended in a crash in Chesterfield County, near Jahnke Road and Chippenham Parkway.

Albemarle County Police initiated a traffic stop after being alerted to a male driver with a suspended license, according to Virginia State Police. The driver, police said, was a convicted felon who they believed had a weapon.

When the driver did not comply, State Police began to pursue the vehicle. The pursuit started just before 7:30 p.m. on Interstate 64,  just east of mile marker 135.

Witnesses told CBS 6 they saw over 20 police cars pursuing the vehicle through Central Virginia. The chase reached speed in excess of 100 mph, police said.

The crash ended when troopers used spikes to deflate the tires on the vehicle. The suspect lost control and crashed into two Virginia State Police cruisers.

The driver was taken to Chippenham Medical Center for minor injuries sustained in the crash, police said. A female passenger in the car was not hurt.

Charges are pending in relation to the high speed chase. The female passenger will not be charged.
