HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Two lanes of Interstate 95 south were closed near the Chamberlayne Road and Parham Road exits in Henrico Tuesday morning after a tractor trailer hauling an Excavator struck the overpass, according to Virginia State Police.
The machine fell into the right travel lane, police said.
"At this time the right and center lanes are closed for an extended period, expect delays in the area," Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Vick said. "There are no injuries involved with the crash."
No one was hurt in the crash that was first reported at about 8:30 a.m.
Police have not yet commented on what, if any, charges the truck driver might face.
