CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — An AMBER Alert issued Sunday for two missing Florida children has been cancelled.
“The missing Williams children were located in Georgia and are safe and sound. The Georgia State Police located Ryan and Stacey Williams in Catoosa County, GA. The children were with them,” the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook.
Rylan Williams, 3, and Mason Williams, 1, were taken from their guardian’s home in Florida on Sunday, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office told WFTV.
The children’s biological parents, Stacey and Ryan Williams, took the kids, investigators said.
“The pair have a volatile relationship and are also drug users,” a sheriff’s office spokesman said. “This elevated the missing & endangered status of the children to an AMBER Alert. They may be traveling in a white 2000 Ford Expedition.”
