Car crosses median, hits Henrico home

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A woman suffered non-life threatening injuries when her car crossed a median and slammed into a home, Henrico Fire spokesman Capt. Taylor Goodman said.

The Henrico Technical Rescue Team was sent to the home on South Laburnum Avenue, near East Caryhurst Road, to help get the woman out of the car.

The driver was taken to the hospital to be checked out following the crash.

The accident was reported at 2:53 p.m.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
