RICHMOND, Va. -- Hot and humid weather will be with us Friday and Saturday, with only a slight chance for an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm.

A cold front will move through the area on Sunday, bringing us a slightly better chance for storms, followed by milder air. Highs next week will remain in the 80s with lower humidity.
Another cold front will move through the area next Wednesday, bringing a stronger push of milder air into the region.
Two disturbances are being monitored for development in the Atlantic Basin, but neither is a threat to the U.S. over the next few days.
