RICHMOND, Va. -- We continue to track Tropical Storm Hermine. It is slated to make landfall in western Florida Thursday night, and track across southern Georgia.
The path after that is still in question.

Recent computer model runs show a more northwesterly track. If this verifies, this would bring Hermine up through central North Carolina into Virginia. With this track, rain will spread into the region Friday night with some heavy rain likely on Saturday.
Winds may gust over 30 mph.
This potential track may change a bit more the next few days. Hermine is currently in an area where plentiful data is not available, so the computer models are basing a forecast on a minimal foundation.
As Hermine hits Florida, the data acquired will help the computer models do a better job in the forecast track.
Rain from Hermine will exit Sunday morning, and the balance of Sunday and Labor Day will be dry. More heat will return towards mid-week.
