Ramp re-opens after Tractor-trailer on I-95N in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A tractor-trailer fire closed the exit ramp from I-95 north to Rt. 10 west/Exit 61 B in Chesterfield County Wednesday evening.

Police said the driver of the tractor-trailer was able to escape the vehicle with no injuries. The trailer belongs to Martin’s and it was unloaded at the time of the fire.

Witnesses tell CBS 6 the cab of the tractor-trailer was fully engulfed.

The ramp was shut down for multiple hours due to clean up efforts. It reopened around 11:50 p.m.
