Missing Hanover teen could be in Petersburg or Chesterfield County

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. – The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help with locating a missing teen who could be in Chesterfield County or Petersburg.

Tyquan Montraz Jones, 17, was last seen in the area of Mill Valley subdivision in Hanover County on Thursday, August 18.

On Friday, August 19, he was seen by a family member in the City of Petersburg. It is believed Jones could still possibly be in that area or Chesterfield County.

Jones is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a thin red t-shirt, black undershirt and dark colored shorts.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tyquan Jones, is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637 (CRIMES), using the keyword “iTip” followed by their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
