RICHMOND, Va. - The “Miss Historically Black College and Universities” Pageant is the first pageant of its kind, and is specifically designed for current students and recent graduates of historically black college and universities. LaQuayle Agurs currently serves as Miss HBCU and joined us in the studio to discuss the newly formed pageant as well as the important platform that she ran on, conquering suicide in the African American Community.
