Man wearing red bandanna robs Henrico business

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police are looking for the man who robbed a Henrico check cashing business on Finlay Street in the Laburnum Square Shopping Center Monday afternoon. The robber, described as a 5’10”, 230-pound, white man, walked into the business at about 12:15 p.m., police said.

“Once inside, he displayed a handgun and demanded cash,” Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Garrett said. “He was last seen fleeing on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.”

No one was reported injured in the robbery.

The robber, who was believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, was last seen wearing a brown sweatshirt, red bandanna, and sunglasses.
