HENRICO COUNTY, Va. – A Henrico man has been arrested and is accused of assaulting a law enforcement official for the second time in the last three months.

Police said during their interaction with McIntosh, he assaulted two officers. There were no injuries during the incident.

This is the second time in the last three months, McIntosh has been charged assault on a law enforcement officer. In June, the 28-year-old was accused of trying to bite a Henrico police officer.

That incident occurred in the 8800 block of Three Chopt Road on June 7.

Police said they responded to the scene for a disorderly call. When officers arrived they found McIntosh in the parking lot and determined he was intoxicated. McIntosh was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

While en route to Adult Intake, police said the McIntosh attempted to bite the arresting officer.

In June, McIntosh told CBS 6 he was intoxicated, but he never attempted to bite the female officer, rather he was cat calling.

“I just growled at her because I thought she was sexy,” he said. “I have a five year old daughter. I would never bite a woman.”

McIntosh who was released on bond in June said he’s been trying to turn his life around and the assaulting an officer charge could have a lasting impact.

“This could ruin my life,” he explained. “I didn’t resist or nothing like that.”

McIntosh was found guilty of the June, assaulting a law enforcement official, charge on August 9. He was sentenced to one month in jail and a $561 fine.

He is scheduled to appear in court for the August 15 incident in October.
