Man wanted for Dollar General robbery in Chesterfield County

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Dollar General store in Chesterfield County Monday night.

Police said the incident occurred at about 10:07 p.m. in the 6700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

Police said the suspect approached an employee, passed a note implying he had a gun, and demanded money. The employee complied giving the man an unspecified amount of money

The suspect then fled the area on foot. No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as a black male approximately 5 feet 5inches, with short black hair and a mustache, wearing a blue shirt and black jeans.
