SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. — Fire crews battled a large blaze that could be seen from I-95 in Spotsylvania County Sunday evening.
The Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Department said the fire broke out at Quail Ridge Products, a landscaping business, along Massaponax Church Road and Indian Hills Court.
“Fire was in woods, unsure of movement now. Multiple mulch piles on fire,” read a post of the fire department’s Facebook page. “Multiple units are on scene.”
Drivers were urged to avoid the area.
There has been no word yet on what sparked the fire.
