WASHINGTON, D.C. – According to the National Park Service, three employees are stuck on a broken elevator in the Washington Monument, WDCW reports.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night. Crews are working to get the three workers out of the elevator. Officials have also reported that they do not know what caused the elevator to break down.
Sgt. Anna Rose has confirmed that, at this time, there are no injuries to report.
