NORFOLK, Va. -- Good Samaritans helped a Norfolk man trapped in rushing flood water.
Ronnie King was driving down Robin Hood Road in Norfolk Tuesday when a fast-moving storm flooded the street.
"It just all came at me at once and next thing I knew it was about right here full of water [and] my windows wouldn't roll down [and] I didn't know what to do it's ridiculous," King told WAVY. "The sunroof saved my life, man I'm so glad I had that sunroof."
King climbed out of his car and onto the roof.
It was then that Good Samaritans helped bring King to safety.
"I would still be stuck in the water right now if they hadn't come out and helped me so I'm really appreciative of them you know I can't thank them enough," King said.
