RICHMOND, Va. - The 2016 Richmond Branch of the NAACP “Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics” (ACT-SO) team traveled to the National ACT-SO Competition in Cincinnati, Ohio and competed for the top prize against 700 youth participants in 32 categories. Rising Junior Keola Jones beat out her competition in the modern dance category, and took home the Bronze Medal. Keola made her debut on Virginia This Morning along with Monique Randolph from the NAACP to discuss the competition and the ACT-SO Youth Achievement Program.
