Sex, drugs and child neglect: 5 arrested in Henrico

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Five people were arrested and charged with a variety of sex and drug crimes after police responded to an online ad that offered sexual services for money.

“Officers contacted the number in the advertisement and were directed to [a motel room along] the 5200 block of Airport Square Lane where they located and identified 20-year-old Destiny Rochelle Hanks, 20-year-old Jessika Anne Norwood, and 21-year-old Kristen Dawn Price,” a Henrico Police spokesman said. “Officers located heroin and cocaine in the room.”

Hanks was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, and keeping a bawdy place.

Norwood was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, and commercial sex trafficking.

Price was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, and keeping a bawdy place.

Police determined the room had been rented by a man named Jonathan Maurice Robinson.

Investigators located Robinson, 31, about a mile in another motel room.

“Heroin and cocaine were located in the room occupied by Robinson and [31-year-old Latasha Anderson] Hicks along with a juvenile,” the police spokesman added. “Robinson and Hicks were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and felony child neglect.”
