HANOVER COUNTY, Va. — Fire crews are investigating a house fire in the 9000 block of Royal Grant Drive in Hanover County Tuesday night.
Fire officials said they received a call for a house fire at a large home around 8 p.m. When crews arrived to the scene, they discovered fire shooting from the roof and smoke coming from the front and side of the home.
All occupants got out the home safely and no was was injured.
Hanover Fire said it took approximately 30 minutes to get the blaze under control. The cause of fire is still under investigation.
Firefighters will be on scene for an undetermined amount of time. Hanover Fire advises drivers to avoid the area.
