GLEN ALLEN, Va. -- A man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen was taken to Henrico Fire Station 15 on Mountain Road in Glen Allen Monday morning, according to Henrico Fire spokesman Capt. Taylor Goodman.
"The victim was [then] transported to VCU Medical Center suffering from a life-threatening injury," Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley said. "The preliminary investigation has revealed the incident occurred in the 1300 block of Mountain Road."
Henrico Police are investigating to figure out how the man was shot and who was responsible for the shooting.
The shooting was reported at about 11:57 a.m.
