WASHINGTON --  Michelle Obama sang to Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours," Beyoncé's "Single Ladies," and was joined by surprise guest Missy Elliott in a Carpool Karaoke version of "This Is For My Girls."

The first lady was the latest famous guest to join James Corden on the viral Carpool Karaoke segment which aired early Thursday morning on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

The clip began with Corden picking Mrs. Obama up at the White House.

"Do you mind if we listen to some music? I rarely get to listen to music in the car," Mrs. Obama said in the clip, adding that the last time she did so was "months ago" with her daughter Malia, who was learning how to drive.

"That was the only time in seven-and-a-half years that I've been in the passenger seat, listening to music, rocking out like this," Obama said.

Elliott told People she was freaked out by how well Obama did rapping along to her 2001 hit "Get Ur Freak On."

"I know for a fact that it was all over my face like, 'Wait, is she rapping this?' " Eliott said. "But that goes to show you just how cool she is. People hold her in such a high regard -- as you should -- but she's so down to earth. I was just sitting in the back like, 'I gotta be dreaming. This ain't even real. Is somebody going to wake me up and say, 'You overslept.' "

"This Is For My Girls," was produced in support of Let Girls Learn, the non-profit organization that the Obamas founded to ensure that every girl in the world has access to education.
