ROCK HILL, S.C. — A South Carolina daycare work is accused of making an 8-year-old boy urinate in a cup so her son could pass a drug test.

The incident happened last week at the New Beginnings Childcare, according to WBTV.

A police report said the day care worker woke the boy up during a nap and told him to “go in the bathroom and pee in a medicine bottle.”

When the boy’s mother spoke with the assistant director of the day care, she was told the worker’s son was recently released from jail and need a clean urine sample to find a job.

The assistant director apologized to the boy’s mother.

Police said no charges are expected in the case.

The case remains under investigation and the day care worker’s name has not been released.
