Man suffers injuries after shooting at South Richmond apartment complex

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police are investigating a shooting at a South Richmond apartment complex Wednesday afternoon that has left one man with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said a call for a shooting came in around 7:40 p.m. at Midlothian Village apartments in the 4000 block of Midlothian. When police arrived to the scene, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound.

The man was transported to a local with non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no word on a suspect at this time.
