RICHMOND, Va. — A Richmond woman received a big surprise recently when see learned she hit the Virginia Lottery six times in one drawing.

Donna Boyd-Warren won a combined $150,000 in the July 15 Cash 5 drawing. She wagered 25-cents on each play, which means each win was for $25,000.

“I’m lucky,” she said as she received her check from the Virginia Lottery.

Although hitting the lottery is exciting, this isn’t her biggest victory. Boyd-Warren won a much bigger victory a few years ago when she survived breast cancer.

She is also a U. S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam.

She said she intends to pay bills and give to her church with her winnings.

Boyd-Warren bought her tickets at the 7-Eleven at 1419 East Ridge Road in Richmond.

Cash 5 drawings are held daily at 1:59 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. The chances of winning the $100,000 top prize are 1 in 278,256.
