Police find mother and baby in Maryland after AMBER Alert issued

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. -- The six-week-old baby and her mother were found in Hyattsville, Maryland Wednesday afternoon, confirmed law enforcement.

Earlier in the day, Virginia State Police issued an AMBER alert for a child abduction on behalf of Fairfax County Police.

Fairfax County Police were looking for Liz Khatun, a six-week old little girl, who has brown eyes and short brown hair.

The child was believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen at 7611 Little River Turnpike in Annandale, Virginia.

The child was likely abducted by Flora Khatun, police said.

Khatun was was described as a 31-year-old woman, 5'2", and 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown-black hair. She was last seen wearing black t-shirt and black yoga pants.

They may be traveling in a 2011 blue Toyota Sienna, license XJG-1035 .
