RICHMOND, Va. -- The ramp from Interstate 95 north to Maury Street reopened Monday afternoon in Richmond. The ramp closed at about 8:45 a.m. after a tractor trailer overturned.
"It was loaded with plastics for recycling which has to be cleaned up before the tractor-trailer could be removed from the ramp," Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said.
The truck driver, 36-year-old Manuel Cuello, of Chester, suffered minor injuries in the crash. He was transported to VCU Medical Center for treatment.
Cuello was charged with reckless driving.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
