GRANT COUNTY, Kentucky -- A 510-foot long, seven-story tall replica of Noah's Ark, known as the Ark Encounter, opens to the public this week at a religious theme park in Northern Kentucky.

The ark opened Tuesday so supporters could take a special tour before crowds are let in.

"Oh my God, amazing. It left me without words, it's beautiful, exciting," one supporter said.

"Very inspiring," another woman commented. "I think I'm very amazed at the construction."

Park officials hope Ark Encounter attracts two million people its first year.

They plan to build other Biblical replicas in the future.
