Hey, Prince George County, lock your vehicles!

PRINCE GEORGE, Va. — There has been a rash of reported thefts from parked vehicles over the past few weeks, according to Prince George County Police.

Residents have reported that a variety of items were stolen, including electronics, money and credit cards. The majority of the thefts have taken place in residential neighborhoods, during the late night/early morning hours.

“We encourage residents to be vigilant of your surroundings, report any suspicious observations, and we want to emphasize to our citizenry to remove valuables from your vehicles and lock your vehicle doors,” said Captain Brian A. Kei.
