HENRICO, Va. — Zaxby’s on Broad Street at Libbie Avenue was shuttered temporarily after a car hit the building about a month into its opening. The car struck just the right spot in the electrical and left the business shut down for weeks.

To celebrate the reopening, Zaxby’s will offer free Nibblerz — snack-sized sandwiches — from 2 – 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 14.

“We just wanted to take this time to say ‘thank you for your support’ to the loyal residents of this area by offering a free deal to give back to the fans,” said Ryan Converse, owner of the Zaxby’s Richmond location. “We have been so well received by the local community and look forward to hosting many more special days in the future.”

Converse also owns the Staples Mill location and soon-to-open spot along Broad Street at Strawberry Street.

The shop, at 5816 W. Broad Street, will also offer the rest of the prepared menu items — and nine sauce choices — for purchase.
