HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- A 7-year-old boy remembered his grandfather Saturday by raising money to help kids.

Andrew Morris set up his lemonade stand in Mechanicsville as part of the Alex's Lemonade Stand national fundraiser.

Alexandra "Alex" Scott was an ambitious and caring little girl who had cancer. In her short eight years, she sold lemonade to raise money to fight childhood cancer.

Her effort became an inspiration for others, including young Andrew, who said he was selling lemonade “for the kids with cancer” and in memory of his “Pop-Pop.”

Andrew sold lemonade on June 4. He surpassed his fundraising goal and had more lemonade left over, so he gave it another go Saturday.
