RICHMOND, Va. – Police have arrested three men in connection with a murder just outside the federal courthouse on April 10, 2016. Police said the trio turned themselves into authorities Wednesday.
William H. Lee II, 31, of Chesterfield County, has been charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle causing a death and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Malcolm A. Gordon, 30, of Portsmouth, and Corey L. Boston, 32, of Portsmouth, have been charged with accessory after the fact.
On April 10, officers responded to reports of a person shot near the intersection of North 8th Street and East Grace Street around 2:45 a.m.
Police arrived and found the body of 32-year-old Herbert L. Brown Jr. behind the wheel of a dark colored Honda with the headlights still on. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
