Man with camouflage hat wanted for robbery of Hanover store

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man wanted in a convenience store robbery in Hanover County.

Police said the incident happened Wednesday, June 1, at approximately 3:30 a.m. Deputies responded to the 11200 block of Airpark Road for a burglary alarm.

Deputies said there were obvious signs of forced entry into a sliding glass door of the closed business.

Video surveillance shows the suspect entering the business and stealing merchandise before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a white man with white facial hair and tattoos on his arms. He was seen wearing glasses, a camouflage hat, a light green short sleeve button down shirt, dark colored pants and flip flops.
