CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews plan to close a section of Otterdale Road in Chesterfield County Tuesday morning to begin work on an expansion project.
VDOT officials said the road would remain closed through late summer, though an exact reopening date was not made available.
The section of Otterdale Road impacted by the closure is between Hull Street Road (Route 360) and Hampton Park Drive.
No traffic will be allowed to travel on the road while the expansion work was being done.
Here are the detours available to drivers in the area:
- Northbound Otterdale Road (Route 667) – Take Hampton Park Drive east to Hull Street Road (Route 360) west back to Otterdale Road (Route 667) north.
- Southbound Otterdale Road (Route 667) – Take Hull Street Road (Route 360) east to Hampton Park Drive west back to Otterdale Road (Route 667) south.
