CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- A Chesterfield man has been arrested after police said the man drove his SUV into three cars and the porch of a home on Sherwood Forest Drive Saturday night.

Edward Reid, 29, has been charged with driving under the influence, hit and run, and possession of marijuana.

Police confirm the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 28. They said Reid hit the vehicles, porch, and then fled the scene.

Bill Derevlany and his wife were out of town on vacation when a neighbor called to say their red Pontiac that was parked in their driveway had been severely damaged in the wreck.  Derevlany said his wife adored the vehicle, and it didn't have a scratch on it prior to Saturday night.

"I'm a little upset, probably can't say the word on TV," Derevlany told CBS 6 during an interview Monday. "I feel bad for everybody [in the neighborhood]. It kind of ruined everybody's weekend."

"He slammed into and messed both her wheels up.  She can't even open her driver's side door," said Alexis Davis, who's grandmother's car was hit.

Multiple witnesses tell CBS 6 Reid rammed the home on Sherwood Forest Dr. multiple times before fleeing the scene.

Reid was arrested moments after fleeing the scene at the intersection of Kingsland and Hopkins roads, according to police.

There were no injuries reported during the crash.
