Netflix has announced that starting in September, it will hold exclusive US pay-TV rights of the latest Disney films.

The deal, originally reached in 2012, will include films from Disney subsidiaries Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar.

“Star Wars,” “Captain America,”  and “The Jungle Book” are a few of the Disney movies that will be available on Netflix, come September.

Streaming platforms like Amazon Prime and Starz will still be able to stream previous Disney umbrella releases, but future releases will only be available on Netflix.

Starz has Disney’s pay-TV rights to Disney creations until September.

The deal marks the first time a major studio has cut out a cable service in favor of direct online streaming for post-release pay distribution.
