RICHMOND, Va. -- A nine-year-old boy has been taken to the hospital after a hit-and-run in Richmond’s northside Tuesday evening.
Police said at 7:53 p.m. they were called to the scene of a hit-and-run at the intersection of North Ave. and E. Crawford St. They said an older model blue Cadillac hit the boy and fled the scene.
The 9-year-old was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Witnesses tell CBS 6 the boy’s arm and leg was banged up after the collision.
"I heard him yell and I saw when he flew," said one witness. "I told my daughter something happened and that's when I walked down here."
Police are still looking for suspect in this case.
