NORFOLK, Va. — A groundbreaking ceremony for Virginia’s newest upscale outlet center, the Norfolk Premium Outlets, will be held Thursday, June 2.
Norfolk Premium Outlets will be home to “85 stores featuring high-quality designer and name brands at an impressive savings of 25 to 65 percent every day,” according to developers.
The outlets will be built near Interstate 64 and Northampton Boulevard, where the Lake Wright Golf Course once stood.
Norfolk Premium Outlets is schedule to open for business in 2017.
“The project will have a significant economic impact on the area, generating more than 500 construction jobs and 800 full-time and part-time employees once the center opens,” developer said.
