UPDATE: Police officers found Lianna Brooke Democko. She has been reunited with her family.

WAYNESBORO, Va. — Police have issued an alert for a missing girl in Waynesboro.

Investigators believe 10-year-old Lianna Brooke Democko ran away from her family. She was last seen by her parents Monday near the Royal Inn West Main Street. The family lives at the Inn.

Democko was described as a light-skinned African American female. She is 4’10” and weighs about 160 pounds. She has blonde hair with pink highlights.

Police told the NewsLeader that Democko’s gold and silver BMX bike was also missing.

She was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and red shorts.

Anyone with information on the child’s whereabouts is asked to call the Waynesboro Police Department at 540-942-6675.
