RICHMOND, Va - We enjoyed another Shaynefully Delicious Creation from Shayne Rogers. Her Tequila Lime Shrimp can be enjoyed as an appetizer or served with Rice or in a Taco.
Tequila Lime Shrimp
3T butter
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 T tequila
3T fresh lime juice
½ t salt
1t chili powder
1T Sriracha or other hot sauce to taste
¼ c fresh cilantro
lime wedges
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and toast for about 30 seconds. Add the shrimp and toss for 1 minute. Stir in the tequila, lime juice, salt, chili powder and Sriracha. Cook for another 3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and the sauce starts to thicken just a bit. Finish with the cilantro and serve with limes.
