Man wearing red hat, all-black clothes robs Bon Air gas station

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va -- Police were on scene of a gas station robbery in Bon Air Sunday night.

Police said a man walked into the Exxon in the 2700 block of Buford Road at around 10:20 p.m. He pulled out a gun and demanded from the clerk. After receiving it, he ran to a car that was waiting outside, which then took off.

The car is described as a dark-colored Hyundai.

The suspect is described as a black male, 22 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with an average build. He also has a beard. At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a red hat, was dressed black clothes, and was carrying a backpack.
