Man arrested after missing 14-year-old found safe

CHRISTIANBURG, Va. -- Police say the 23-year-old man accused of running away with 14-year-old Austyn Hughes has been charged in the case.

Seth Koon was arrested after Salem police located the pair early Sunday morning.

WDBJ reports officers found the teen in an apartment complex parking lot on Chestnut Street.

Koon was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

He is currently being held without bond at the Roanoke County-Salem Jail.

The Virginia State Police and Christianburg Police Department had been searching for Austyn, who was last seen leaving her home in Christianburg, Saturday afternoon.

Police believed she was with Koon, who was driving a gold 2006 Chevrolet Malibu four-door sedan.
