CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Family and friends gathered Sunday to remember a woman killed in a crash last week in Richmond.

Police said 26-year-old Jillian Little of Quinton died after a car slammed into the back on her vehicle onBrook Road around 1:20 a.m. Friday, April 22.

Little, who worked at the popular Tobacco Company as a bartender, was known by a lot of people around town.

Beth Carey, Little’s mother, said an outpouring of love has sustained her recently. She said her daughter had a bright, bubbly personality and did not mind taking someone under her wing and showing around Richmond.

“I don’t know many of these people and they have treated me like their mom. They have just taken me under their wing,” Carey said. “They are just super super, super good friends and they were my daughter’s friends and now they are my friends as well.”

Little's impact on those she knew was obvious as hundreds of people packed the Boathouse restaurant to share their memories.

Friends said Little had a spirit that is unending.

"She had a great life, and she was going to go on to have a great life," Carey said. "I want all these people to share their love, share their sorrow.  Between all of us together, we're going to make it through it."

Police said the driver of the car that rear-ended Little is expected to face charges.
