PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. --  A Virginia father is facing charges after police said he posted a video online that shows him boxing his teenage son.

That video shows the teen taking punches in what appears to be a living room.

A close up of the 17-year-old’s bloodied face can be seen at the end of the five-minute video.

The man said he was trying to teach his son a lesson after the boy skipped school.

Tavis Sellers was charged with domestic assault and battery, but he could face additional charges.

Sellers turned himself in to police and was released on $5000 bond, according to WUSA.

Police said the teen was removed from the home and is being cared for by another family member.
