CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- I went back to school when Dr. Deborah Marks asked if I would be principal for the day at Clover Hill High School.
When I arrived at Clover Hill, I checked out the special principal parking spot out front.
Every Friday, Principal Marks wears green beads, so when I went to her office, she decked me out style. She even gave me a walkie-talkie to use while walking around school.
I even got to talk over the intercom. That was a dream come true. I gave the weather forecast over and then tried to excuse class early, sadly, I was over ruled.
I used the walkie-talkie to inform all of the teachers that we would have an assembly. There I enjoyed getting to chat with the students.
They quickly informed me that “Facebook is for old people and Snapchat is where it is at."
Therefore we took a Snap (search for me at Nikki-DeeRay).
While at Clover Hill, I did install one rule.
There were several juniors and seniors who were notorious for being late to class.
I made a bet with one senior that if he went to school on time until graduation, Dr. Marks would do the weather live on CBS 6!
He has been on time (even early) since we made the bet!
