HANOVER COUNTY, Va. – A Hanover dog is safe after being rescued from a tight spot over the weekend with the help of Hanover Engine Company 8.

Witnesses said Bromley was chasing a kitty when she got stuck in a culvert pipe. Hanover County Animal Control was on scene to assist with the emergency, but more help was needed.

When Engine Company 8 arrived they were told Bromley had been stuck in the pipe for several hours.

Firefighters were able to assist by cutting the pipe and Bromley was able to run out of the pipe on her own.

Bromley was not injured during the incident. She was returned to her owner, who was on the scene of the rescue.
