RICHMOND, Va. — Comedian Chris Tucker is returning to Richmond.

Tucker will perform Friday, June 24 at Altria Theater. The show is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.

“Perhaps best known for playing the role of Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film series, Tucker became a favorite on Russell Simmons’ HBO Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s and came to prominence in his first starring role, the 1995 film cult classic Friday starring opposite Ice Cube,” a spokeswoman for promoter SMG Richmond said.

Tickets for the Chris Tucker show go on sale Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10 a.m.

Tickets can be purchased at Altria Theater and Dominion Arts Center box offices, online, or by phone (800) 514-3849 (ETIX) and range in price from $47 – $77.
