RICHMOND, Va. — Our weekend high temperatures have been pretty typical for this time of year. An area of high pressure, which will be right over Virginia on Sunday, will move southeast of our area Monday into Tuesday. This will produce a southwesterly wind flow across the region which will warm up us quite a bit.
High temperatures on Monday will reach the low and mid 80s in many locations. On Tuesday, highs will be in the mid to upper 80s, but there will be some isolated warmer (hotter) locations around 90°. A cold front will bring the chance of some thunderstorms late Tuesday followed by highs in the 70s Wednesday.
