Gunman robs Midlothian KFC

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- A gunman forced two workers back into a Midlothian KFC before he robbed the fast food restaurant Thursday night, according to Chesterfield Police.

The robbery was reported at KFC on Hull Street Road.

No one was hurt in the robbery, which was reported at about 11 p.m., at the KFC located at 10151 Hull Street Road.

"The suspect approached two workers outside forcing them back inside the restaurant where he displayed a black handgun and demanding money. Upon receiving cash and personal effects, the suspect fled," a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said. "The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, shorts and a red bandanna covering his face."

Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Chesterfield Police at 804-748-1251.
